Year 5 - Transmogrification

With my trip through the past finally done, I'm finally back at the beginning of my blast from the past.  We start the ball rolling with none other then transmogrification!  Something I couldn't wait for.  Finally I could wear a entire set of green armor without the woes of it not affecting my stats or dps.

So without further ado.

My world is complete =D

Year 4 - End of 2011

Finally, my last post of 2011.

The past has finally caught up with me as I finish off the year, trying to catch up to the end of Cataclysm and on to MoP.

Enjoyed some time in the new Orgimmar with my ghost wolf and several of my best friends and guild mates while we brought out all our devilsaurs and raptors out for kicks <3

Had some crazy fun in dungeons to pass the time with rabbit attacks, corehounds and motorcycles, oh my.

Had some fun doing old world quests.  Arr!
The windrider ones were some of my favorites.
Those babies <3

Some of my favorite shots in the new areas and enjoying the sights with my collection of pets.

And how can we end 2011 'cept with x-mas gifts and songs.
2012, finally here I come!

Year 4 - Pet Stories of 2011

As I wind down my trip through the past it's back to more rare tames <3

First up is Jadefang.  A bit of a tricky catch because even if you find this rare, you have to be on a certain bomb quest to even reach his ledge.  After many many jumps and giant stone worms trying to eat me... I managed to blow myself up into his little cave.

Several hours of waiting and it all paid off rather painlessly.  A clean flawless tame was mine.  Managed to get another spawn within several hours of questing the area the next day and while closing my eyes, got his little twin as well <3  Eclipse was rather curious of the little squeaky rock spider.

Then it was off to hunt down Karoma.  I've always wanted a ghost wolf since the spirit wolves could be tamed way back in the day due to a glitch.  That took a lot longer and definitely was a rush tame before anyone else got to him.

And of course, had to have me a green chimaera.  Evalcharr is the only one in game, lucky for me, I spent a few hours in a empty zone stalking him with no issues :)

Then it was off to tame the new challenge... Kirix.  Another green pet I didn't really need but it taunted me, I swear it did.  I met several really awesome people who already had him and were happy to help keep a eye out for him.  Including a new druid pet <3 who sat with me while I camped this new beastie.

I seem to attract druids... must be my... animal magnetism -enter lame drum roll-  Anyways, saw lots of amusing bugs on quests.  More searching.  Helped others get other colorful spider rares.  More searching.  Found other rares I wasn't interested in....

Then finally, he was mine after a very painful, fear induced, poison inflected tame.

And!  Got me another new shiny mount in the process.

 Next, a ending to 2011...

Year 4 - Cataclysm Trinkets of 2011

As I continue a trip through my past I'm almost back to the present.
Due to a new hobby, where were we now.

Ah yes, Cataclysm trinkets!  Simply because I really enjoy them <3
Shame they don't last longer thou....

Here is a collection of my favorite ones, along with some old time goodies as well.

Now onto more hunter pets, really, I promise <3

Year 3 - Pet Stories of 2010 Part 2

Take II as I finish off 2010 (aka continuing through the past)
Expect a lot of images and a lot of mini stories -cackle-

After my biggest win of capturing King Krush, it was off to finish off my tier and satisfy my need for the rest of every green pet available in warcraft.... even if some of them just had green eyes like this pretty golden worm.

Green cat. Check.  Green dog.  Double Check.

And of course, can't forget a awesome screenshot with a helboar and warcraft's new lighting.

Do some old quests and have a blast taking some really fun screenshots in the process.

And then find out about Chromaggus....

He wasn't green but he was unique, a two headed dragon that breathed smoke.
I needed another corehound like a hole in the head....  Everyone to Blackwing Lair!

This time I had my guild's support and we trucked in and crushed the place, nearly killing the corehound boss I was trying to tame and finishing up with a party on the old dragon's head.  Cheers!

And so then finally, after a very long winded travel into my past few years of playing.
To the new expansion I went, hunting for fresh thrills and long camps.  See you all there as I hit up 2011 ;)

Year 3 - The Year that Green was King

This was perhaps my longest and most painful camp ever and deserves a post of its own because well, it's Krush's story <3

I had told myself that I wouldn't hunt him for all the grief I'd heard so much about but that only worked for so long.  I would later find myself in the Shozin Basin, camping for this newest obsession.  My guildies were busy with other things, my friends figured I was nuts as day in and day out I stalked the Basin.  Several times other hunters pulled their own pet out on me and with my rare addon screaming, I rushed over only to see them laugh and taunt as they flew off.  A rarer beast even spawned for me but obsessions aren't so easily satisfied.

And then... avert your eyes to the sadness as I came across my first real glance at the king.

Even the apes came to pay their last respects....

But sad stories can have a happy ending.
A couple weeks later, as to which I've seen enough mammoth herds to last me a life time.  It was one of those late nights that you keep hoping, another hour, just one more hour.  What is it with rares and late nights?

At 4am, I got my wish.

All evening I had been alone when he spawned inches from me and what was worse, a ally flew down as well.  Fearing the worse, I took a deep breath, expecting the human to kill what I had been stalking for weeks now.  I watched as instead, the ally took a step back and I did not waste the silent go-ahead he had given me.  I did not even pause to screen-cap, firing off a stun, drinking my potions, hitting my protection and praying as my health steady went down.  The biggest pain with Krush is that he fears but the hunter-gods were with me, the seconds ticked down.  With a bow, the ally left me with my prize and I'm sure I woke the neighbors with my cheers.

My new companion (who later became Limeade).  Of course, what's a rare without bringing him back to the city to proudly show off.  He seemed to enjoy creeping up behind unsuspecting people and scaring the pixels out of them as well.

I took him everywhere, even met some other friends, ally and horde alike with a love of green pets.  Even got me drawing again and spawned a fair likeness of him.

He definitely enjoys my green obsession, often rolling his head around when I try to get a decent screen shot of the two of us.  Move already you green tard!  I do love this pixel dinosaur thou, still one of my favorites to this very day.

He also followed me right into the beginning of cata's opening and into its new worlds.  See, having a bright green dinosaur can be handy, never get lost in a crowd again :)

Next stop, more green tames!
